Second Amendment
As a hunter and a sportsman, I support gun ownership rights, including the state's new concealed-carry law. Law-abiding citizens have the right to the freedoms outlined in the Second Amendment. As governor, I will continue to fight to protect those rights.
I have hunted with my father and grandfather since I was a young boy. Now I am able to pass along this tradition to my children and enjoy hunting trips with my family and friends and primarily hunt elk, game and pheasants.
I have received an "A" rating from the National Rifle Association as a candidate for governor of Nebraska in support of gun rights.
